MELROSE S2 is a mini card pocket phone that looks like a military device! It packs a dark green theme in multiple shades to create an army effect.
Main specs: 1.7 Inch display, Ultra thin, Outdoor phone, Bluetooth, Fits inside wallet, Red/Yellow/Green/Black colour, MTK6260DA processor clocked at 187MHz, 32MB Storage, 32MB of RAM and 88×176 pixel resolution.
This phone comes packed with a tiny resolution camera it’s 0.3MP back camera. You won’t be able to take any amazing photos with it but it can be nice if it’s something you want to remember. It has a ACC 1511 speaker built-in.
The phone book is massive and can store 500 contacts. This is way more than some other mini phones that only can store 200.
Of course the main special functions with this specific gadget is how it’s shockproof, dustproof and scratch resistant. Sometimes you want a durable phone that is small in size!
If you want then you can also record video or voice. A basic clock is available as well as alarm, calculator, calendar and keypad backlight. You get a 480mAh battery built inside which is better than just 300mAh some other tiny phones offer you.
It still manage to be very slim even when it has durable protection just 5.8mm thickness! It would be cool to see this phone be transparent at the same time like AIEK T5! But you can’t get all your wishes come true.
This is the first durable mini card phone. Usually it’s only smartphones and feature phones that gives you that extra protection. I wish this phone had water resistance as well. Then it would be the ultimate mini phone!
It would be nice if it did feature some basic games pre-installed. No distraction games but just simple games, or maybe a reader so you can read PDFs or Books or other digital files. That would be awesome!

Lenovo ZUK Edge is a phone that almost at a quick look seems like it has an all-screen display. Like Xiaomi Mi Mix 2, iPhone X and DOOGEE Mix Lite. But when you look closer you can see that it’s just a display that goes up pretty high but not all the way. The rectangular long shape of the home button reminds me about the Galaxy S2 days.
Main specs on ZUK Edge: 5.5 Inch display, U-Touch, 6GB of RAM, 64GB Internal storage, Snapdragon 821, Quad-core processor, 4G fast connectivity, Black/White colour, Goes fully to the side to create bezel-less display effect, Clock speed 2.35GHz, Dual-chip fast charge, Dual SIM Dual Standby, 3100mAh Battery and 13MP camera.
The first thing that strikes me with this device is how it’s pretty similar to ZUK Z2 Pro. But with some upgraded specs. Snapdragon 821 instead of 820 and higher CPU clock speed. You get 5.5” display instead of 5.2” and you get more “all-screen” experience. On the other hand Z2 pro came with 128GB memory built-in.
The screen on ZUK edge is HD retina with lighter screen technology, higher reflectivity and brighter. The build of this phone is premium with double-sided 2.5D glass design + one-piece metal frame. This phone joins iPhone X and Note 8 when it comes to glass on phones! The GPU is still Adreno 530 as in Z2 Pro but it’s a little higher clocked on this variant.
You can sum it up that it’s not a major difference between these two phones. It’s all about if you want a little larger “all-screen” display with updated processor. Or if you want more memory and go with the other phone. The price difference is a Note 5A cost for a little more premium ZUK phone. Do you like the ZUK Edge?

With technology constantly moving forward we are getting more and more robots coming out on the market. Of course this is nothing compared to the robots we will have in a few centuries but it’s still pretty cool! This is a cool humanoid robot called Alpha 1S.
You can control it via bluetooth with your smartphone iOS or Android. 16 servo joints, flexible like a human, 3D visual PC software to both create and control each action, easy-to-use interface, STM32-F103RDT6 processor, 7.4V 2200mAh battery and 3W mono speaker.
Alpha 1S also comes with good battery life a full charge can last you 60 minutes. That is way better than many drones out there that needs a recharge every 10-20 minutes. You can also share your 3D creations with other people!
The robot comes in blue, white and gray colour, and the charge time is also short. You can really see how flexible the robot is on the pictures.
I am super curious where this will go in the future when we starts to combine the flexible joints with real artificial intelligence, but it will probably take another 10 years at least before we start to see more interesting stuff happening on the AI front.
As we have been seeing now with Google and Tesla both have AI controlled cars on the roads. And eventually trucks will also be having AI controlled vehicles.
A large industry is of course the Taxi industry where Uber has taken over a lot of the market with amateur drivers. And eventually the amateur drivers will be replaced by robot drivers.
This major area of transporting stuff or people will all eventually be replaced by robots who make less mistakes. And eventually what will the jobs be for the humans when robots can do it all? That is a very good question it will be interesting to see. What do you think about the Alpha 1S?
