This wild OUKITEL K10000 phone has three times more battery than what you get in Samsung Galaxy Note 8. In Note 8 you only get a 3,200mAh battery!
Other specs on this phone include 5.5 inch display, unique design, Android 7.0 MTK6750T Octa Core 1.5GHz, 3GB RAM, 32GB Internal Storage, 13MP rear camera, 5MP front facing camera and 10,000mAh battery! It doesn’t have new bluetooth 5.0 but it has bluetooth 4.2. Other features include a fingerprint sensor, proximity sensor, gravity sensor and ambient light sensor.
The OUKITEL K10000 is fully unlocked for worldwide use. The first thing in my mind is why can’t other smartphones pack in 10,000 battery? The highest I have seen is 5,000 mAh in phones like DOOGEE BL5000 and Asus Zenfone Max. But we want to see bigger battery in latest Samsung and iPhone’s as well! You cannot remove the battery that would be amazing if you could!
Of course we have seen battery cases come out for both iPhones and Samsung’s. With Samsung phones when they allowed you to remove the battery it existed great larger batteries to put in. But these days Samsung doesn’t allow you to remove battery so you can no longer take with you extra spare batteries which sucks! These days you have to bring a power bank with you.
The phone has a metal frame and Australian calf leather! The battery is legit wild in standby! 4G standby 33 days! 3G standby 55 days! 2G standby 77 days! Damn that’s crazy!
The phone also supports a super cool feature called reverse charging! If you friends needs a bit of battery juice then you can charge their phone with yours!
The screen also offers strong corning gorilla glass display protection! The resolution is 1080p! The fingerprint sensor is actually a “press fingerprint”. Instead of just touch. I really like how they put the fingerprint sensor below the camera. Way better than Samsung Galaxy S8 and Note 8 fingerprint design!
This is probably one of the more cool phones 2017. What do you think about the OUKITEL K10000? Because of it’s low price and unique features! I will see if I can get a review unit and compare it to phones at a similar price range!
It looks like Huawei’s new high-end phone which is expected to be released in the upcoming months has been leaked on a chinese social media network called weibo. A website called androidcrunch wrote this article with the rumored Mate 10 photos.
I used the Huawei Mate 9 as my main phone for a couple of months and I really liked it. So what will the new Mate 10 have in specs?
First it’s suppose to upgrade the processor chipset to Hisilicon Kirin 970, Mate 9 use 960.
It will improve battery life and device performance and come with 6GB ram support and 64GB internal storage. With microSD card support up to 256GB.
Mate 9 uses a 5.9″ display the Mate 10 is rumored to use a 6.1″ Full-screen display with QHD res with 486ppi.
Probably will look similar to Samsung Galaxy S8 and iPhone 8 by using more screen on the front of the phone. Sony with Sony Xperia XZ1 is rumored to still have thick borders on the front. Which many people don’t like.
It seems the Mate 10 also will switch to AMOLED display just as the new high-end iPhone 8 is rumored to also start to use AMOLED. Going away from LCD. At least on their most exclusive high-end phones. iPhone 8 will still have 2 cheaper models with LCD display.
The camera is rumored to be a Dual Camera setup with traffic light design. But in the center on the rear side of the phone. The iPhone 8 will have it on the left side of the phone. Leica branding probably. Mate 10 will probably come with Android 7.0 pre-installed and their own custom UI that they call EMUI on top. Android O is in development and is expected to be released August 2017 in a few weeks.
In battery 4000mAh is rumored and with fast charging. For some reason I feel that the devices is charging slower and slower over the years. My Galaxy S8 charges full battery in 1.5 hours. So even when we get bigger displays over the years the battery charge time seems to take a hit. Which is sad. We want devices that can fully charge the device in 25 minutes or less.
Also we are expecting to see a fingerprint sensor below the camera. Just as LG did with the LG G6. And how Huawei did with their previous Mate 9. Which is the best location for a fingerprint sensor. The iPhone 8 is supposed to not even have a fingerprint scanner! Only a face scanner. Which is sad when many enjoy that scanner.
Mate 10 is rumored to cost around $1,000. Which is sad. It seems most phone companies these days just keep raising the prices year after year. Because they see people keep buying super expensive phones.
My favorite thing with the Mate 10 will for sure be the bezel-less design. I might even go back to Huawei and use the Mate 10 as my main phone. I switched to Samsung’s Galaxy S8 when it came out. But I have been disappointed with this device. The S8’s back is glass and sensitive if you damage it. If the back get’s damaged then you have to replace the full back!
I want Samsung to go back to what they do best. Removable plastic backs and S-Pen phones. I am looking forward to Samsung Galaxy Note 8 because the S-Pen make that Note series truly stand out. Nobody can compete against Samsung in that area. But I’m sad the Note 8 will have a glass back too. And it will be heavier phone as well. And I’m sad iPhone 8 won’t have a fingerprint reader. So I think maybe Huawei Mate 10 will be my next main phone.
LG also did a great job with the G6. And they have an upcoming LG V30 coming out soon. Which looks amazing. I think that phone will be able to compete against the Mate 10. I think the Mate 9 had an amazing design. It felt manly. With no glass back but full premium aluminum body. And super fast fingerprint reader. It doesn’t have dust or water resistance which is a little bad but for most it won’t be a major problem.
It does look like the new Mate phone will be using a more flat camera that doesn’t stand out from main phone. Huawei’s CEO Richard Yu have also claimed Mate 10 will be more powerful than the iPhone 8. He probably meant in processor speed. Which is awesome. But then again Apple usually optimises their App Store apps to run in perfection on the latest iPhone so don’t think Apple users will complain.
Mid-October 2017 is when we think the Mate 10 will be released. So it will be one of the last high end phones coming out of 2017. Other phones we are expecting to come out soon are the Google Pixel 2. I never picked up the first one because the price was ridiculous around €1,000 euro in Europe. And that was months after release! For some reason these Pixel phones seems to have a struggle to be released fast on a mass-scale. The demand for them was super high.
But it only seems like Apple and Samsung are the ones who can release their new high end phones fast on the market. The Google Pixel 2 is rumored to feature an Active Edge squeezable body. HTC will produce the next Pixel phone with this feature that probably will be similar to the Edge sense tech inside the HTC U11.
I don’t think the Pixel 2 will be able to compete against the Mate 10. Because it will still have same bezel size as last years model according to rumors. Which makes it look outdated 2017. LG is rumored to build the larger XL phone variant. Which sounds a bit confusing.
The main phones I’m looking forward to the most here end of 2017 is: Galaxy Note 8, iPhone 8, Mate 10, LG V30 and Sony Xperia XZ1.
Soon the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be released by Samsung. Here are 13 official HD wallpapers leaked. These wallpapers will be inside the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. Most of them seems to be of a very calm theme one is showing an ocean, another some mountains and a third some clouds. If you wanna see them all hit up the download link: Click Here!
So what’s the deal with the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 anyway? What can we expect? The latest phone we saw from Samsung in the Note series was the brand new Samsung Galaxy Note FE. Which isn’t actually that new other than having an updated safer battery. After the Galaxy Note 7 battery issue that made Samsung haven’t to stop selling the Note 7 they made a massive loss of money. And they suddenly had a bunch of spare Note 7 parts they couldn’t sell! So they created the Note FE.
But what about the Note 8? What is different if we compare the Note 8 vs. Note FE? Let’s see what the rumors are saying.
The first thing that is different is that Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will have a 6.3″ display vs. Note FE’s 5.7″ display. They both have very similar ppi pixel density over 500+. And they both have Gorilla Glass 5 screen protection. The Note 8 is rumored to have 6GB of ram instead of Note FE’s 4GB ram. So 2GB higher! Also the Note 8 is expected to have a 8MP front facing camera which is better than Note FE that only has 5MP. Note 8 is expected to have 3300mAh battery so 100mAh higher than Note FE. Samsung Galaxy Note 7 had 3500mAh.
But the biggest difference of all is of course the price where the new Note 8 will cost around 30% higher than the Note FE. Will it really be worth it? We had some rumors that maybe we would see a 256GB Note 8 but that doesn’t seem to be the case anymore! The max seems to be 128GB Internal of storage with 6GB of ram.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will have 1 big difference that can make it worth the upgrade from the Note FE. And that is a brand new dual-camera setup with OIS. One thing that will keep be annoying on the Note 8 is the placement of the fingerprint sensor. Which is still located at the side of the camera. On the Galaxy S8 it is also and it’s very hard to unlock without getting errors. Because you misplace your finger.
What is the solution on the fingerprint placement problem for Samsung? The solution is in the Galaxy S9 put it below the camera! Just as the Huawei Mate 9 and the LG G6 is doing! Much better placement. And it always works as it should. Actually Mate 9 is a bit sharper than G6 because the fingerprint sensor points in a bit. Kinda like a golf sand wedge! Or maybe not really..
So will the Note 8 truly be worth it’s price or will it be better to pick up a Note FE? We have to wait and see. Samsung is expected to announce the Note 8 at it’s Unpacked event in New York City on August 23. LG will also be ready to bring out a new sharp phone in August called the LG V30. So these next couple of months will be very exciting. We also have the new Sony Xperia XZ1 that just recently got leaked. And soon the iPhone 8 that also will be announced in the upcoming months.
In short, this is a bad time to buy a phone! Sell your old one fast and get ready for the new stuff.
But wait a second doesn’t Samsung already have a phone that kinda reminds about the Note 8 already? Yes they do and it’s called the S8+. The S8+ features a 6.2″ display and seems like the Note 8 will use the same CPU as that one, Exynos 8895 Octa-core. But the big difference will be that the S8+ is big but doesn’t have an S-Pen! The S8+ also do not have a dual-camera. But it’s interesting how the S8+ features a 3500mAh battery and the new Note 8 may only get a 3300mAh.
Which of course is a bit sad. Samsung has been a bit confusing this year with how many products they have been releasing. For example the new J5 that many times felt more premium than the new A5 2017. But the J5 was cheaper and featured a more updated Samsung UX! Which was very confusing for Samsung customers.
I am still very excited for the Galaxy Note 8 launch. Last year I was just about to buy the Note 7 but then they cancelled the device! They never released a Note 6 named phone which was confusing. But a Note 5 phone which I picked up and with just a 1 meter drop the back glass got smashed.. Which is a big problem with new Samsung devices. Stop using glass on the back! Apple learned their lesson and stopped using glass on back 2012 with the iPhone 5. Oh the nightmares with the broken glass on iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S…
One main thing I hope with the Note 8 is that they try to make something special with the UI. To make the Note series stand out from the Galaxy series. Maybe more S-Pen features. Or just an improved S-Pen in general. I’m disappointed other companies haven’t tried to bring out a cool Stylus phone. Apple should do it! LG should do it! Sony should do it! I love the stylus!
Also not all Samsung Galaxy Note 8’s will be using Exynos 8895. But in other regions it will be using Snapdragon 835. Just as we saw with Galaxy S8. It is also the same processor as the brand new OnePlus 5 is using. It’s probably going to be running Android 7.1.1 Nougat. Google is working on their new Android OS called Android O. But the Note 8 will probably not come shipped with that. Hopefully you will be able to buy the Note 8 already in September. Samsung usually seems to make a phone available in around a month after the announcement.
Any phone you want me to compare it too? iPhone 7 Plus probably! Apple please do a stylus phone. It will be a success! Steve Jobs never liked the stylus and yes with Windows Mobile it was kind of lame. But Samsung 2011 with the original Galaxy Note actually made a huge success with bringing back the stylus and making it cool again.
