Alcatel 3C is a new phone that has been leaked in brand new press renders. The new 1, 3 and 5 series from Alcatel will be unveiled at MWC in 1 month. This 3C smartphone reminds me about the ASUS ZenFone 3 design with a glossy rear side.
Main specs: 6 inch HD+ Display, 14440×720 pixels screen, MediaTek MT8321 Chipset, 1GB of RAM, 16GB Internal storage, 8MP Rear camera, 5MP Front selfie camera, Android Nougat, 3000mAh Battery and price around 120 dollars!
This phone comes in at same price as entry Xiaomi Redmi 5 phone. The RAM is a bit low. The phone looks a bit rounded like LG G6. It comes with a rear located fingerprint sensor. This phone will come in Black and Gold colour. The rear camera sensor is located above the fingerprint sensor.
It has Alcatel text on the back. The thing that is great with this phone is how you get a 6 inch Display for a low price. Usually budget Android phones comes with only 5 inch displays. So this is good for something that is looking to get something very large in size.
We will also see Alcatel 5, 1X, 3, 3V and 3X be unveiled at MWC in Barcelona. The 5 will be the most expensive Alcatel phone. I hope these phones comes with Face ID unlock option. We are quickly getting used to quality Android entry phones for low price of 100 euro.
Meanwhile on premium side of phones people are getting used to 1000 euro phones like Galaxy Note 8, iPhone X and LG V30. But do the so called premium phones really give you anything exclusive? These days with hardware being updated so quickly it’s probably best to go with cheaper smartphones and stick with them. I hope the dual camera trend ends in 2018.
