Lenovo K320T New Smartphone!

Lenovo has a new cool low end smartphone being called K320T. It comes with fingerprint sensor at rear side and even a dual rear camera at the top back corner.

Main specs: 5.7 inch Display, IPS screen type, 1440×720 pixels screen, Android 7.0 Nougat, SC9850K Chipset, Quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz, 16GB Internal storage, 2GB of RAM, TF card support up to 128GB, Dual SIM Card Dual Standby, Plastic shell, Black colour and 4G connectivity!

One downside you quickly can see with K320T is only 2GB of RAM. Many phones at this price range comes with 3 or 4GB of RAM. But Lenovo is a premium brand so they are charging a bit extra.

In terms of camera first you get a 8.0MP front camera with F2.2 aperture. On the back side you find 8.0MP + 2.0MP lens with F2.0 and F2.2. Other features include auto focus, LED flash and video recording with 720p at 30 frames per second.

The battery they pack on inside has 3000mAh! It’s a pretty thin phone with only 8.5mm thickness and low 153 grams weight.

This device will probably not be that great for gaming. But for web browsing it will be awesome because of the large display. And for taking pictures I’m sure it will deliver great results. 4G phones mean fast data speeds. So apps will be downloaded fast! In a few years we will see 5G be rolled out. It will be mega fast…

I like the curved back design K320T comes with. So it will feel great in hand. And this is a good phone for someone that miss plastic. These days most phones are going over to metal. But plastic is still awesome and something many people want to have on their phone! Like the Galaxy S2, Galaxy S3 and Galaxy S4. They all felt great in hand.

Lenovo Moto Z New Smartphone!

Lenovo has a new smartphone which is being called Moto Z. This phone has a unique design on the rear camera lens. Let’s dive into the features and specs.

Main stuff: 5.5 inch Display, AMOLED touch screen, 2560×1440 pixels, 535 pixels per inch, Android 6.0 Marshmallow, Snapdragon 820 Chipset, Quad-core processor, Adreno 530 GPU, 64GB Internal storage, 4GB of RAM, TF card support up to 2TB, Black colour and 4G LTE!

Very impressive the large MicroSD card you could use in this Moto Z! This is also a Dual SIM Dual Standby smartphone! In terms of listening to audio you have to use the Type-C port. You also get the Moto Mods connector.

In terms of rear camera you have a 13.0MP sensor with F.1.8 aperture and 1.12um pixel size! Optical image stabilize on board of course. But there is a ton of other specs as well because the camera is one of the main things: Shutter lag, colour correlated, Professional mode, Quick capture, Best shot, Scan barcode, QR codes, 8X digital zoom, burst mode, night mode, panorama, video stabilize, tap to focus, 1080p video at 60fps, 4K at 30 fps and slow motion!

Wow that was a lot you could do with rear camera! The front selfie is a bit lower in megapixel. It comes with a 5MP sensor and F2.2 aperture, wide-angle lens, 1.4um pixel size, low light and Beauty software!

In terms of security we see the mobile comes with a fingerprint sensor. You can do mobile payments with the NFC technology. Something that is being used at more places.

You can’t remove the battery on Moto Z and it has just 2600mAh. Which sounds a bit low for a 2018 phone. Most phones tend to have at least 3000mAh. 136 grams in weight and just 5.19mm thickness. Yes I had to read that twice. It may be wrong. Because it sounds too slim!

I usually don’t buy so many Motorola devices because I find them pretty boring. But I did buy the Motorola Moto G5 a few months ago and compared it to Samsung’s latest Samsung Galaxy J5 2017 smartphone!

Lenovo ZUK Edge Close to be an All-screen Display!

Lenovo ZUK Edge is a phone that almost at a quick look seems like it has an all-screen display. Like Xiaomi Mi Mix 2, iPhone X and DOOGEE Mix Lite. But when you look closer you can see that it’s just a display that goes up pretty high but not all the way. The rectangular long shape of the home button reminds me about the Galaxy S2 days.

Main specs on ZUK Edge: 5.5 Inch display, U-Touch, 6GB of RAM, 64GB Internal storage, Snapdragon 821, Quad-core processor, 4G fast connectivity, Black/White colour, Goes fully to the side to create bezel-less display effect, Clock speed 2.35GHz, Dual-chip fast charge, Dual SIM Dual Standby, 3100mAh Battery and 13MP camera.

The first thing that strikes me with this device is how it’s pretty similar to ZUK Z2 Pro. But with some upgraded specs. Snapdragon 821 instead of 820 and higher CPU clock speed. You get 5.5” display instead of 5.2” and you get more “all-screen” experience. On the other hand Z2 pro came with 128GB memory built-in.

The screen on ZUK edge is HD retina with lighter screen technology, higher reflectivity and brighter. The build of this phone is premium with double-sided 2.5D glass design + one-piece metal frame. This phone joins iPhone X and Note 8 when it comes to glass on phones! The GPU is still Adreno 530 as in Z2 Pro but it’s a little higher clocked on this variant.

You can sum it up that it’s not a major difference between these two phones. It’s all about if you want a little larger “all-screen” display with updated processor. Or if you want more memory and go with the other phone. The price difference is a Note 5A cost for a little more premium ZUK phone. Do you like the ZUK Edge?

Nillkin’s Durable Frosted Shield Lenovo ZUK Z2 Pro Smartphone Case!

Nillkin got a durable case for Lenovo ZUK Z2 Pro! I talked about this ZUK phone today and the thing that impress me about that phone is it’s low-price but with massive amount of built in storage and that it’s running on Snapdragon 820 processor, same as Galaxy S7.

Check out my blog post about it if interested. Today I want to talk about a case for that phone. It’s called Frosted Shield case and it’s from Nillkin brand. Let’s see what it does!

Specs: Stylish, Sleek, Slim fit, Environmental material, UV Painting technology, Excellent hardness, Salient point design, Exquisite workmanship and Thoughtful protection.

Frosted Shield reminds me a bit about my current Samsung Galaxy S8 case called PITAKA. The nice thing with slim fit cases like this is how it doesn’t even feel like you are using a case! My glass back on S8 broke very quickly after a drop test YouTube video. So I had to get a slim case. And this PITAKA case now I can’t live without it! I think this Frosted Shield case here will do the same thing but for ZUK Z2 Pro smartphone.

It’s also an extremely light case that comes in multiple colours. The colours are: Black, White, Red and Gold. Other great things about this case is that it’s wear-resistant, anti-skidding, dust-proof, anti-fingerprint and easy to clean. It has a full 360 degree protection that even protects the sides from scratches or issues.

The button cut outs are precise on Frosted Shield and it doesn’t cover any important ports on the bottom or up at the top. A blue colour edition of this case would be great to see. It would fit in nicely with the ZUK’s default wallpapers. I’m pretty sure the ZUK phone has glass back so it’s a must to invest in a cover for this phone. So you don’t regret later if you accidentally dropped it.

Lenovo Phab 2 Plus Giant Smartphone!

Lenovo Phab 2 Plus is a massive Android smartphone. I have already talked good about Lenovo’s ZUK Z2 Pro with Snapdragon 820. The Phab 2 has another speciality. Being massive for a low price! Let’s see what you get inside.

Main specs: 6.4 inch 1920×1080 resolution display, Dual rear camera, 3GB of RAM, 32GB Internal storage, MTK8783 Octa-core processor, 4G, External Micro SD/TF card up to 128GB, 8.0MP Front camera, 13.0MP Dual Rear camera, 4050mAh and 218 grams weight!

The first thing I see with the design on Phab 2 Plus is how it looks like a Huawei Mate 9 on back but with slimmer camera parts and more curved design! The fingerprint sensor and sides of the phone reminds me about Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X! A very interesting mix they have put together. Lenovo seems to find inspiration from lots of places.

Something that’s missing with this device that would make it an ultimate seller is a Stylus. Why is no company challenging Samsung in this area? I think the stylus truly makes a large phone stand out. Because then it makes sense to have a massive display! Another thing here compared to ZUK Z2 Pro this one has expandable storage which is nice. In max you get 32GB more in this device if you insert a maximum Micro SD card.

Phab 2 Plus comes with Android 6.0 which might be a little boring now when we have both Android 7.0 Nougat and Android 8.0 Oreo out. Especially Oreo that truly has redesigned the whole interface! They don’t seem to have their own UI so may be vanilla Android 6.0. Like HMD is doing with their new Nokia branded phones. At least this phone is a safe purchase Lenovo just as ASUS is famous for getting quality reviews on their brand new gadgets.
