This Porsche Design brand has a new cool 2-in-1 Tablet PC available called BOOK ONE. It’s a brand that is focusing on creating beautiful products with functionality and design in mind.
It comes with the specs: Intel 7th Gen Core i7-7500U, Intel HD Graphics 620, 16GB of LPDDR3 SDRAM, Sharp 13.3″ 3K QHD+ IPS screen with resolution of 3200×1800, LED backlight. 512GB SSD, USB 3.1 Type C + and a Pen! I really like how the Pen looks like a real Pen for a more realistic experience. A Touchpad and Microsoft’s Windows 10 Pro.
The pen that comes with BOOK ONE will be cool for people who likes to be creative. Many computers doesn’t come with that. And with phones it’s even worse. Only Samsung with their Note lineup has taken the pen serious. That you can get now with their latest Galaxy Note 8 offering that will be available soon in stores.
This hybrid device takes 2 hours to recharge. It contains two batteries that add up to 70Wh that can make it last up to 14 hours!
It features a VarioHinge that got inspired by the gearbox of a high-end sports car! The material is high-quality stainless steel. And this will add flexibility to quickly switch from high-performance laptop into a high-end tablet. Perfect when you no longer need the keyboard.
And when you feel like gaming or write a lot then you just connect it back and it transforms into a nice notebook.
The ports you get are one USB Type-C 3.1 port, one Intel Thunderbolt port and two USB-A 3.0 ports.
The overall materials used is stainless steel and matte aluminium. Polished edges and lovely silver design really creates a product that looks high-end! It is a bit pricy so not a product for everyone. But good if you need a high-end solution for both tablet and laptop experience in mind.
I will probably not check out this device right now but I am interested to see how Windows 10 Pro tablets perform and how it feels. Especially compared to Android and iPad tablets.
I sort of feel like the Android OS and Apple OS should be a totally different experience on Tablet vs. Phone. Right now it feels you don’t get that much more. Versus the experience on phones. I hope to see improvement on this in the future! What do you think of BOOK ONE, too expensive?
