With technology constantly moving forward we are getting more and more robots coming out on the market. Of course this is nothing compared to the robots we will have in a few centuries but it’s still pretty cool! This is a cool humanoid robot called Alpha 1S.
You can control it via bluetooth with your smartphone iOS or Android. 16 servo joints, flexible like a human, 3D visual PC software to both create and control each action, easy-to-use interface, STM32-F103RDT6 processor, 7.4V 2200mAh battery and 3W mono speaker.
Alpha 1S also comes with good battery life a full charge can last you 60 minutes. That is way better than many drones out there that needs a recharge every 10-20 minutes. You can also share your 3D creations with other people!
The robot comes in blue, white and gray colour, and the charge time is also short. You can really see how flexible the robot is on the pictures.
I am super curious where this will go in the future when we starts to combine the flexible joints with real artificial intelligence, but it will probably take another 10 years at least before we start to see more interesting stuff happening on the AI front.
As we have been seeing now with Google and Tesla both have AI controlled cars on the roads. And eventually trucks will also be having AI controlled vehicles.
A large industry is of course the Taxi industry where Uber has taken over a lot of the market with amateur drivers. And eventually the amateur drivers will be replaced by robot drivers.
This major area of transporting stuff or people will all eventually be replaced by robots who make less mistakes. And eventually what will the jobs be for the humans when robots can do it all? That is a very good question it will be interesting to see. What do you think about the Alpha 1S?
These days you can print cool stuff in your home! 3D printers used to be very expensive but because of competition the prices has gone down a ton! You can now get the A8 3D Printer DIY Kit for less price than a mid-range smartphone!
This 3D printer contains of many parts: LCD Display at the top, Z axis lead rod, X axis motor, Nozzle, Mainboard, Hot bed, Turbofan, Power supply, Y axis motor and Z axis motor.
The LCD display on A8 3D Printer is a 2004 LCD screen with 5 keys, with simple controls and you can pause at any time. It will give you stable print and high-precision visual experience. The stepmotor can work without interruption for 1000 hours. The power supply is a high-quality 180W, 110V-240V variant.
Some ideas of things you can create with this machine are toys for children, art and cultural objects, medical application and more. Come up with something fun to create!
I am super curious about the future with 3D printing. Will we be able to eventually print anything in the world? Including objects that needs hardware to work? Like actually building anything in the world? With the power of AI I think we will be able to get this done eventually within 20-50 years. But will it be available for the masses? Do you think A8 3D Printer is cool? I love it!
Of course a machine like that you would have to feed it all the materials needed to create hardware. Software is already available in the cloud or in hardware or on the internet so that you wouldn’t be able to print. But I think the future may become weird if people can create anything in their home. Will it be safe?
Or will it be restricted? The internet is a strange thing how it allows us all to communicate and share ideas faster. An AI will still be more intelligent than us when a proper AGI has been created. When an AI machine can improve itself then we know we have created something that truly will replace us!
First it comes packed with Sony’s latest console PlayStation 4 Pro, 1TB storage, VR headset, processor unit, VR connection cable, HDMI cable, USB cable, stereo headphones, AC power cord, AC adapter, VR demo disc, PlayStation Camera, Two PlayStation Move motion controllers and 8 different VR discs!
The games in this VR Deluxe Bundle package are: PSVR Until Dawn: Rush of Blood, PSVR EVE: Valkyrie, PSVR Battlezone, Batman: Arkham VR, PSVR DriveClub, RIGS Mechanized Combat League with VR support and Resident Evil 7: Bioshazard with VR support. I guess that’s 7 games and one VR demo disc!
Both the VR headset and the PlayStation Camera needs to get plugged into the PS4. The VR headset uses an OLED 1080p 5.7″ display running at 120 frames per second.
I really enjoy the creativity they have done with the PlayStation Move controllers. They have round balls on them at the top. It’s a different design to the design you get on HTC Vive controllers. I am curious which one that feels the best. I may buy the Sony VR headset because clearly VR is the future of gaming!
It will also be interesting to see if VR will become popular in other areas than just gaming. The problem these days is that VR headsets are pretty bulky and you need to set it up for some time before you can use it.
I’m curious if the time will come when it’s super easy and light weight to use. Kind of like Google Glass. We all know Google Glass failed for the moment. But maybe with VR advancement we can see some exciting new development in the future.
Taking action keeps taking you back into reality again and again. And you will bump into walls again. Walls of reality that gives you real helpful feedback. The walls will slowly bounce you back and forth but in a forward progress direction.
Not the result you want you actually want the feeling of doing progress. Taking that much action will give you lots of feedback. About what you need to work on. And you will also realise how connected everything is. Becoming more grounded in accurate sense of reality. And it will make you more humble for the journey.
Just like a lens on a camera you are removing the layers of delusion and comes closer to more accurate sense of reality by constantly shift the lens into sharper focus. Low level thinking paradigms and low level desires will be stripped away from your personality by going through pain.
The layers of delusion people get from not taking action scares people. People also get scared because they don’t actually have trained their action taking ability. Your brain will start to tell you lies if you go down the paths of delusion. You quickly need to correct and move into the right direction again. If you start believing your own lies you will build a foundation where more lies will be built on.
Where is reality going in the future? This is a good question because it does seem like we are moving into a more robotic world. With Virtual Reality headset’s like HTC Vive that now can simulate a world in your home that feels like real life. By taking advantage of your senses you can generate amazing things. But there is also a risk here that it can be used to manipulate reality more. You can also argue that we are already in a simulation of the world. Elon Musk said that was a high possibility.
After I tried out the HTC Vive I am getting more confident that people will be using “reality tweak” tools more in the future. We already see it happening with how much people are addicted to their phones. They can’t live without them! They have almost become a part of our bodies!
Will reality not matter anymore? If people can just live their whole life in their homes? It does seem in a new world like this that introverted people would benefit more than extroverted. Because it will create a world where people more communicate not in fast ways but in deeper ways away from each other. So they have more time to develop elegant ideas before they release them out into the universe. There is a great personality test out there if you wanna find out if you are Introvert or Extrovert more. Called the Myers Briggs test.
Taking action has a way to throw you into the present moment when you take action with consciousness. You are actually aware of what you are doing because you do it with great attention. Which makes you forget about thoughts and emotions. Which actually feels really good. Because most of the time our thoughts puts us into a weird loop that doesn’t get us anywhere. Usually the only thing we need to do to become awake again is that conscious action taking.
There are of course other ways you can do this and that is by just focus on sit still and be conscious. That will also put you into a mode where eventually you wanna go up and do stuff. Instead of just being still and passive. Many times we think that thoughts = being productive. But many time’s that’s not the case. Many times we would be way more effective by just starting the task. That is also the first habit in Coveys book: Be Proactive.
Why should you take action you may wonder when you can already get by just fine by relaxing? Well you should take action because we live in a time of intense changes. And in these times if you don’t become intelligent then it will be very easy to fall behind. Because earlier we only had competition that was close to us. Now in the world we live in global competition. Which means it will be even harder to get by if you are passive.
Make everything your own in life. You must strive towards ownership. When it’s your own you work harder and from a position of power. Take the leap away from safety. We are apes designed to be out in the wild. Living day to day! Remember. People are always trying to trap you in society. To play their games. This is a great time to invest in the internet because many people don’t take advantage of the insane opportunity that exists today. So you can really exploit it by working smart. Everyone wants to outsource all work to robots and cheap workers. You can exploit this by working with heart and soul. People will detect a true spirit person above robots and cheap workers. Why people don’t work hard is because the limited position they are in. Work to become an owner.
There is a great book about how the internet is changing our brains and how it changes action taking in this world which is moving at a faster rate. The book is by Nicholas Carr he wrote the book The Shallows: What the Internet Is Doing to Our Brains. Which has many interesting information about how these constant new online links changes our brains. Here is a great quote from the book:
Basically what this means is with the internet there is no limit on who you can contact. So if you are creative you can build new business connections super fast. Just by contacting and engaging with more people and provide help for common problems. Wanna find a list of problems people have? Go to Quora.
Internet is a great place to both take action and to become an owner. Right now to start a website is very cheap. But it’s yours. You own it. And it’s extremely valuable when you want to get content out there into the world.
The problem I see with many people is they do take action but they are building their work on someone else service. Which just means you are selling yourself cheap. Also remember that when you are more the owner over your work then you will work harder and with more pride. Which will end up in better results. And you feel more in control and it will make you be in a responsible role.
What happens with these other services is it starts out great but slowly you will realise your room to move around and have control over your work is becoming more limited. That’s when it’s time to break free.
Your time is valuable so I recommend you set up rules for when you use social media or the internet. For example I have disabled notifications on my phone. And only open up stuff after I have created new content. So I’m not just a consumer. Thanks for reading!

One of my favourite concept’s is the idea of being an owner of all the things in your life. When you are an owner in life you have full control over the direction of your life. And you have much more freedom. Sure it will take more work to become an owner of certain parts of your life but the work is never the problem once you get into a flow of it. Once you start to get into a flow of work you actually like the process of growth.
Being an owner of parts of your life involves so many things. For example having your own business. It’s about more responsibility in life. It will turns us into full adults faster. When we truly are responsible we also many times feel free and put in more effort and work. Because we know we can control the outcome. There are many interesting ways you can become an owner over parts of your life.
You can start with things we take for granted. Let’s take a basic app on Android that is being a calculator. Why not make your own calculator? And use your own app? Maybe it will take a week to learn but after you learned that skill suddenly you have taken a massive step into being more of an owner. In learning new things we take big leaps into become owners in life.
I have another example when I was researching products on Amazon. I found out that many of these products we think are special because it has a brand logo on it. That you can actually order these gadgets already from China and create your own custom branding! Suddenly if you would do that you would use something with your company name on it! How cool. Another major step into becoming an owner.
So this idea of becoming an owner it can happen in small steps. Once you see the small steps are working you can try bigger ones. And build up higher levels of self-confidence. With the power of the internet becoming an owner over your life the knowledge you would need is all there for you to pickup.
But just because knowledge is easily available these days most people end up not value it. Or see the potential in it. This all comes down to one thing I was talking about in another blog post about the importance of paying attention in life. If you pay close attention in life to the task you are involved in you will see things other people do not see. But it will require you to focus with a deeper level of intensity.
One of my favorite books of all time talking about human nature is a book from a great author who have had many jobs and observed human nature a lot. He is called Robert Greene and here is a great quote from his book The 50th Law:
I will also add some more quotes from this book in this blog post because it has some intense raw truth quotes.
To be able to have this intense focus in life you have to study consciousness more in life and how it works. For example right now you can open another tab in your browser and google “human consciousness”. I’m sure it will bring up some interesting results. And I have also been talking about it in other blog posts.
Being an owner means limitless opportunities where you can take your life. If you do not become an owner usually what will happen is you will slowly be trapped by other peoples goals to become owners. This doesn’t happen because someone is mean. It’s just a natural law that if you do not take control over your life someone else will. We think we are independent islands in life while that is not the case.
We also absorb new information and always get’s influenced by other sources. Whatever we like it or not. It is happening. So you better take control over things that has an influence on you. And try to make sure it’s from good sources.
We humans wanna be awake. Not asleep. Basic jobs and not being owners of our lives put’s us into a sleep mode. Because repetitive jobs will keep you unconscious. More responsibility in life will keep you awake. Because your life will be more at risk If your business don’t go well. So you have to become extremely good at business and become an adult very fast.
Usually what happens is you will find out the world isn’t as scary place as you made it up in your life. There is always help to get from all kinds of sources. And nature love’s a good hearted person and will help that person as much as it can. Being a slave and not an owner over my life scares me.
The world we live in is way more safe than in the past. We do not live in the jungle anymore but our tribal brain still thinks we are. Because the world have changed rapidly over the last 100 years. The amount of opportunity people have with a tool like the internet is mind-blowing. The internet should be used to network as much as possible and actually build real connections that can move your life forward.
But many people do not take advantage of the internet. You have all the knowledge available right in your phone. The amount of limitless potential that exists is so wild. Back in the days to be able to get knowledge was super hard. Because books was expensive. But now in history there is a short window where knowledge is available for a cheap price so you should try to suck up as much good knowledge as possible.
Because we never know if this internet thing will last. It can be closed down tomorrow. Because if it’s one thing that mother nature has taught us then it is that life is always changing. Things are in constant change. So if you are not changing then you are probably being left behind. The more knowledge we learn the more we will find out how ignorant we have been in the past. Thinking that we know a lot. When in fact most of human society is in a state of deep unconsciousness mode.
