Raspberry Pi 3 Model B Useful Mini Computer!

Raspberry Pi 3 Model B is a cool little device to buy if you want to own a mini computer that you could play around with! This is great if you don’t have the money to buy a smartphone or an expensive computer. Let’s have a closer look at the specs you get inside this device.

Main specs: ARM Cortex-A53 CPU, Clocked at 1.2GHz and it’s a 64-Bit variant with Quad-core inside and 1GB of RAM.

The nice thing about this mini computer is that you get many ports! 4x USB ports to be able to input lots of devices! It comes with a micro USB source. For loading operating system you get Micro SD port.

For sound you have a 4 pole Stereo output and composite video port + a HDMI full size port! It comes with wireless internet with 802.11 bgn Wireless LAN and Bluetooth 4.1. The ethernet socket is 10/100! And the main chipset being used is broadcom BCM2387!

If you look at the price of this gadget then you can see it’s cheaper than new Nokia 3310 2017 edition and you can do more cool things with this device. 4 USB devices connection is really madness. It’s really nice to see computing both becoming smaller and more affordable. I am curious if consumerism will be able to continue in the future because it feels like there should be a little on new cool gadgets they can bring out.

Feels like the novelty thing will wear out when people can do anything they want. I already feel it’s sort of madness you can buy a new phone for 1000 euro and it won’t really do anything magical a 100 euro phone can’t do. Phones are becoming a bit boring on new front side. EVGA Got a Cool Tiny Graphics Card!

EVGA got a new graphics card that is called GeForce GT 730! Good if you can’t afford the more expensive cards out on the market.

This card comes with 2GB of 64-Bit GDDR5, Core Clock is 902MHz, 1x DVI-D, 1x mini HDMI, 384 CUDA Cores and PCI Express 2.0, NVIDIA SMX shaders, NVIDIA surround, NVIDIA adaptive vertical sync and 28nm Kepler architecture.

Perfect if you are tired of integrated graphics and want something that is a little more powerful for multimedia and gaming. The card also got a passive cooling solution the heatsink on the card dissipates the heat with zero noise.

GeForce GT 730 is also featuring a low profile design so it will fit into HTPC, mini PC and smaller configurations. It comes with three outputs 1x HDMI, 1x DVI-D and 1x D-sub. This is useful because now it will work with most displays available to purchase!

The card has a black design and looks very compact. On the top side it has the text EVGA and below GEFORCE GT 730 in white colour. Overall the card looks very slim and compact.

The question is how good it will perform is games compared to integrated graphics solutions. Will it be worth it? Obviously it won’t perform as a 1080 graphics card but I bet it can perform decent. You don’t always have to go for the latest high-end game!

This card is probably good if you wanna stream multimedia or play some normal graphics games. Without having to spend a fortune. I will probably check out more graphics cards in the future to see if there is a massive difference. What do you think about the GeForce GT 730?

A few days ago I checked out a new graphics card from GIGABYTE that had created a new super compact card. Be sure to check it out if you are interested in cool cards!

Nothing super fancy about this PC but it get’s the job done and is a compact PC. Good when you perhaps are travelling and don’t want to bring a large laptop. Acer Unveils The New Aspire S 24 Beautiful Computer!

Acer has unveiled a new desktop PC. It’s running on Windows 10 Home, has latest 8th Gen Intel Core i5/i7 processor, 5.97mm thin, FHD IPS Display, Qi Wireless Charging Pad and Acer VisionCare Tech.

This computer is something that you call an all-in-one desktop PC. The display size is 23.8-inch, 178-degree Full HD IPS, the bezels on the sides are 2.7mm so the screen-to-body ratio is 90%.

The built-in wireless connectivity is powered by Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC (802.11.ac 2×2 MIMO). And the audio is 2.1 channel subwoofer with Dolby Audio Premium as well as Acer’s TrueHarmoy that should be able to provide a deep base audio experience.

The amount of memory is 256GB SSD and 2TB HDD storage. You can also tilt the display a bit from -5 to 30 degree. My current Samsung 27″ display doesn’t allow tilting which can become annoying. I like with this desktop the wireless phone charging that will be convenient below the screen.

This won’t be the cheapest desktop! It will be available in North America in January 2018 for $999. In other regions it will come in November 2017 for a starting price of €999. Obviously you get a pretty elegant experience here but will it be worth the price? And will the gaming and performance be worth it?

Acer has played around with all-in-one desktop solutions in the past. One of them was the Acer Aspire U27. That sort of reminded us about the look of an iMac. It’s liquid-cooled and fanless.

Many people still buy these niche products because they like the compact size of things. But you do have to remember that usually you will get a laptop performance experience in exchange for good looks. And also replace hardware parts might be a challenge. Do you like the design of this new computer?
