Want a BIG Laptop? The Most Overkill Laptop Ever!

This laptop here from Acer is totally insane! It’s called the Acer Predator 21 X GX21-71-76ZF21″. It comes with a 21″ 2560×1080 curved display! Apple doesn’t even create 17″ MacBook Pro’s anymore and here Acer comes with 21″!

The specs? Dual GeForce GTX 1080 SLI 16GB GDDR5X, Intel Core i7 7th Gen 7820HK clocked at 2.9GHz, 64GB RAM Memory, 1 TB HDD + 1 TB SSD! It’s a bit sad it didn’t feature 4K resolution display that can be a major downside for a lot of potential buyers.

Some ports Acer Predator 21 X comes with are: 1x Thunderbolt 3 (Supporting full USB 3.1 Type C), 2x DisplayPort, 1x HDMI 2.0 and 4x USB 3.0 ports.

The major thing here of course is that this is a hard-core gaming machine with SLI configuration with two graphics cards that are overclocked. Also comes with a 5-fan cooling system to keep your system sharp! Three predator AeroBlade fans being used to keep GPU and CPU cool and quiet.

To get rid of heat it also comes with nine heat pipes. The speaker system is 4 speakers with 2 subwoofers 4.2 Dolby Audio Premium system.

Is this system overkill? Yes it is! But that’s also what makes it fun. That you can truly do anything with this setup! It will last for a long time. And it will be a laptop that everyone will think is cool because of it’s massive size.

Do remember Acer Predator 21 X is truly massive in size! So it won’t be like having a MacBook Pro 13″. This is a laptop you probably won’t be moving around a lot. And I can’t even imagine how massive the laptop case must be for this beast..

Also the pricing… This is not something for the average guy. This will cost too much! You can buy 15 HTC Vive Virtual Reality headsets for the price of one of these machines.

Affordable Computer Case From Deepcool!

Ever wanted to build your own computer but thought it had to be super expensive? It doesn’t have to be. DEEPCOOL has a very cool affordable ATX Mid Tower computer case called TESSERACT BF!

This case comes pre-installed with a 120mm fan, anti-dust filters also included on top, 1x USB 3.0 + 1x USB 2.0 Ports, Black painted interior, metal mesh front panel and room for long VGA card installation.

You also have support for up to six fans to install, 310mm graphic card space, rail slide HDD design, two water cooling grommets on rear side, CPU cooler mounting support with wide CPU cut out and PSU at the bottom for best cooling. You also get a pre-installed blue LED fan on front panel.

Something that I noticed with TESSERACT BF was how high quality it looks. It doesn’t look like a cheap variant. And the blue LED on front really adds a unique touch to the case. DEEPCOOL also got another TESSERACT computer case called SW. That case got a side window and comes with two blue LED fans.

On the front on this TESSERACT case you see their logo at the bottom, it also has nice feet to stand on. Inside the case you got 28cm of space up to the hard drives. Also it features tool-free design for the 2.5HDD/SSD and 3.5 HDD drives. It also comes with great cable management on the back side with multiple channels.

This case is not super stand out as Acer Predator’s computer case. This case is more modest in it’s design with a slight touch of premium feel with the LED light. It’s good when you want to build a computer that doesn’t stand out too much but still a little cool. And that it’s an affordable case makes it even better!

Acer Got a Wild Computer! Predator G3-710-UC11!

So currently I have an Acer Predator VR ready laptop. The 17 X model. I really like it, it got an edgy cool design. And now I saw Acer’s G3-710-UC11 desktop variant and wow! It also got a real cool edgy design.

It comes with Intel Core i7 7th Gen 7700 clock speed 3.6 GHz, 32GB of DDR4 memory, 1TB HDD and 256GB of SSD. Windows 10 Home 64-Bit and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 8GB of GDDR5 graphics card. Perfect for a VR experience!

The first thing you notice with the G3-710-UC11 computer is the case design that stands out from the competition. It looks like a boat in the ocean moving forward. I love it. It’s sort of look like an armor designed case. All black and red.

It has ports on the front side for USB and Audio. Audio is using Sound Blaster Cinema 2 for cool surround sound effects. It also comes with easy-swap expansion bay at the front, a headset cradle so you can hang your headset on the case! Nobody else can do that! And Windows 10 supports DirectX 12 for more cool games.

It really felt for some time that the phones would replace the desktop computers. But that doesn’t seem to be the case. Smartphones have still a long way to go if they want to remove the desktop PC.

One boring thing with phones is how the games still lack a lot they can’t compete against desktop games. Or even console games. And for many people gaming is important to them.

And phones aren’t powerful enough to support Virtual Reality yet. But maybe one day it will come. But it looks like the PC is here to stay. That include Mac computers as well. Do you like the design on the Acer desktop PC or is it just me?

Acer Unveils The New Aspire S 24 Beautiful Computer!

Acer has unveiled a new desktop PC. It’s running on Windows 10 Home, has latest 8th Gen Intel Core i5/i7 processor, 5.97mm thin, FHD IPS Display, Qi Wireless Charging Pad and Acer VisionCare Tech.

This computer is something that you call an all-in-one desktop PC. The display size is 23.8-inch, 178-degree Full HD IPS, the bezels on the sides are 2.7mm so the screen-to-body ratio is 90%.

The built-in wireless connectivity is powered by Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC (802.11.ac 2×2 MIMO). And the audio is 2.1 channel subwoofer with Dolby Audio Premium as well as Acer’s TrueHarmoy that should be able to provide a deep base audio experience.

The amount of memory is 256GB SSD and 2TB HDD storage. You can also tilt the display a bit from -5 to 30 degree. My current Samsung 27″ display doesn’t allow tilting which can become annoying. I like with this desktop the wireless phone charging that will be convenient below the screen.

This won’t be the cheapest desktop! It will be available in North America in January 2018 for $999. In other regions it will come in November 2017 for a starting price of €999. Obviously you get a pretty elegant experience here but will it be worth the price? And will the gaming and performance be worth it?

Acer has played around with all-in-one desktop solutions in the past. One of them was the Acer Aspire U27. That sort of reminded us about the look of an iMac. It’s liquid-cooled and fanless.

Many people still buy these niche products because they like the compact size of things. But you do have to remember that usually you will get a laptop performance experience in exchange for good looks. And also replace hardware parts might be a challenge. Do you like the design of this new computer?
