The Power of Humility In Life

Audio Version:

Humility can be the greatest gift of all to have. You just gotta ask for help. Crazy part is people do not do it.

A quick example of how deep humbleness goes. If you live in the European Union. You can go to 100s of banks to ask for a loan for whatever it is you wanna do. I bet if you actually did this you can probably have 1 million euros in your hands in a year from now. I don’t have that humility and you also probably don’t have it. So with that simple example you can see how you always can be more humble in life. Instead of being the person who “already knows everything”.

Your framework in life should be “I do not know anything about anything” so a constant learning process. Now the crazy part about humility is how it keeps giving you more the more you seem to do it. An endless stream of good stuff. It never ends! It’s like the universe ALWAYS expanding. If knowledge is infinite do you know how insane that is? No end! So crazy we cant even wrap our minds around limitless knowledge.

Nothing Will Stay The Same!

The problem with being in the mindset of thinking “I already know everything” is that you will stop growing and evolve. And as we know nature is always shifting. You just gotta look outside your window every month to see how things are constantly shifting. So if everything is always changing that means you have to develop a harmony in your life to move along with nature. And not get stuck in old habits or routines.

Focus on taking care of other humans and you won’t have to worry about your own needs. Clearly if you put focus on how you can make other people’s dream come true nature will take care of your needs too. Most people are stuck in a scarcity mindset where they think they are limited in what they can do in life. But just remember that what one man can do, another man can do. Just requires that you actually do take action and starts to move in the direction you want to go.

Progress! Not going back!

Remember that it’s not the end result that we actually want. Surely it will be nice but even that will be a fleeting moment. The main thing we wanna feel in our life is that we are making progress right now and is moving in the right direction. So the criteria for success for me has become “did I make progress today” or “Am I still growing in life?”. What I do is that I constantly write down all my ideas that I find valuable so I don’t forget.

Goals and habits in life are very important but probably of more importance is that you have written down some kind of vision or purpose in life. I do this on a regular basis and do constant new updates to my vision. I listen a lot to my heart to try to be perfectly aligned with what my spirit tells me to do.

There is a great book by Stephen Covey called The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. That talks a lot about great ways to structure your life. Here is a good quote from that book:

Don’t let boredom run your life when everyday could be exciting!

We have this idea that you should pick a job and then stay in that niche for the rest of your life. How limiting! Maybe we are here to just experience life and do a new job every couple years or so. Especially when we really start to get bored of something. That is usually a sign there is time for change. A lot of people are being very resistant to change. They want things to stay the same.

But they too have also forgot that things will never stay the same. They have never stayed the same in history. Evolution is constantly making tweaks and as we see with our current technology we are now in a rapid stage of development into a new arena. An arena where it will be critical you don’t stay ignorant. But that you constantly keep educating yourself. So you can deal with any sort of future adversity that may show up.

Magic Fantasy Land!

Humility will also remove a lot of pressure a lot of people put on themselves. That they need to become something or be something magical. You don’t.

There is a lot of vanity in our current time a total obsession with that every should “Make it”. Which puts even more pressure on humans feeling like they must do something “Amazing” in their life. You really don’t.

The starting point should always be that you are perfect the way you are because your inner core spirit never changes. It always stays pure and same. From this realisation that you are good and perfect already you can move from a calm state into doing other things in life.

Also you should remember that most of your problems someone else in the past have had and wrote down a solution to. So really important to keep getting exposed to new quality information Ralph Waldo Emerson has a great book called Self-Reliance and Other Essays that speaks a lot about relying on yourself to do most things and use the help of wise people to guide you forward. Here is a beautiful quote from that book:

He speaks a lot about the importance of living in harmony with nature. And observing all of life around you.

Have Bigger Dreams To Get Excited!

Vanity and self-importance get’s so boring after a while. You get tired of yourself. And you wanna help others in life. Now the irony is that once you start to help others and focus less on yourself you will actually feel better than with the vanity feeling you got in the past.

It will feel better because you feel like you are a part of something bigger than just yourself. It puts off the pressure on your shoulders to carry the whole load. There is a lot of help out there to get, you just gotta work on not being so afraid to ask for help. It takes humility to ask for help.

People have a massive fear of rejection and I may talk about that in another blog post. The fear of rejection is a big thing that holds most people back in life.

The Power of Imagination

Audio Version:

So today I want to talk about imagination. In a world where with the power of the internet can basically access all of the worlds knowledge with just a couple of buttons it is important to not get stuck inside of an auto-pilot trap. It is true that many things such a surviving is getting easier especially in the developed world. All heavy lifting the machines and computers can now do. But we still have to do one thing and that is to use our imagination.

The first thing we have to understand about the universe is that it seems to constantly expand. It seems to have no end. So in that case it means complexity and knowledge and whatever you want in life is already available in an infinite form. You just gotta use your imagination to tap into that source. For example I have noticed this when I have been producing YouTube videos. The more videos I do the more new better video ideas I get. And the less videos I do. The less ideas I get. So the more I take action the more my mind starts to expand. You discover that there is no limit.

Important In Creativity to Warm Up!

I have for example noticed that when I do 10 videos quick without much thinking but just producing. Then the real good ideas comes after I have done that. So the first part sorta works as a warm up. It’s kind of like in any sports that people exercise. They have to stretch and prepare for a game or a practice. Many times we gloss over the WARM UP part. We need to understand how critical this part is. If we don’t take it seriously then we will get less of everything.

Some people call this the law of abundance. That whatever thing you put out into the universe will come back to you. What I have noticed is the more you give the more you actually see your full potential and the insanity of how infinite this whole maze of life seems to be.

A key thing here that I have noticed to become more imaginative is that you have to expose yourself to a bunch of new information daily. To get new data and input that you later can sort through. If you don’t get exposed to new ideas or thoughts your mind will grow more weak and lazy. Because we humans are open systems.

There is an amazing book I am currently reading on this topic of imagination from Napoleon Hill. It’s called The Law of Success. Here is a great quote about this idea of thoughts. That they can be extremely powerful and affect other’s far away from you:

Ignorance Is Bad

We have a lot of ignorance that we have to fight against in our life’s. The more you learn and read the more you become aware that you don’t know anything. It make’s you more humble. But also grateful because you see that there is more to life than just the regular auto-pilot mode most people are on. The reason why we are in this auto-pilot mode is because of a lack of imagination.

Or lack of understanding that we have the most powerful tool in the universe always with us. Our brain and it’s intellect. Maybe we are afraid of it also to discover it’s fullest potential. But it can really open up interesting doors and thought patterns you never thought was possible. Being exposed to new information can of course come from other sources than books.

Chaos Can Be Good!

I have noticed that chaos in my environment for example will stimulate my brain to see new things and connect new ideas together. It’s like a plate of Taco’s full of colors and diversity.

I used imagination to discover that if you use a speech to text app on your phone then you can get 1,000 word’s down on paper in just 7 minutes. That is around 35 pages in 1 hour and a full book in 8 hours. Now of course it would require a lot of editing but you see my point. My imagination got me to that realisation.

We have these ideas that maybe writing a book should take months or years. When it could be done in 1 week. With deeper focus and attention and living in the present moment. This will of course open up your imagination even more. If you can finish writing a book in 1 week then what would you be able to accomplish in one full year?

Another great quote fromThe Law of Success about how negative energy also can affect us very easily so we need to control what we surround ourself with. Which also goes to show that we aren’t closed systems as humans:

Be a creator more then a consumer!

Why aren’t more people producing videos, making songs, making podcast’s, writing blog posts. When you now with the internet have access to billions of people! Imagine all these humans that you have a super easy way to access. Never in past history has such a massive opportunity for creativity and imagination existed as of now.

Or for example think about all these daily things you are struggling with. Problems in your life. If it’s a problem in your life maybe it’s something that other people also struggle with? And if it’s a mainstream problem you can work on a solution to that problem and sell it to others. You see everyone has some problem in their life and something they want to be fixed. You can be that problem solver.

For example you can sell digital products with WordPress and deliver them digitally for free. Bet you haven’t even thought about that!

Complexity!

Usually we don’t like problems and run away from them but just imagine the power you have if you can learn to become a problem solver that can solve any problem that come’s your path.

I heard this great thing which is so true and that is that you get paid in proportion to the complexity of problem you are solving. So if you are just solving an easy problem then you will be paid low. But if you find a way to solve a more complicated problem then you will be better paid. For example let’s say you design a website for someone or you learn how to program an app. Now you have used your imagination more and will be able to be paid more.

Of course this intense level of imagination will fire up your brain’s dopamine levels that will make you feel good and win more in life. Your brain will enjoy that you are doing something new. Instead of just the same old stuff. A great book from Ian Robertson called The Winner Effect discusses a lot the connection between dopamine and winning. Here is a great small quote reminding you that the human connection can many times make you feel way better than monetary rewards that humans can get stuck in:

Imagination will be very hard if you don’t get exposed to new data and information. We humans are like sponges. Everyone around us has an effect on our life. So we need to be sure we choose good sources. For example if you want to be a programmer you have to find those sources in life and surround yourself with them. Eventually they will start to rub off on you. And you will become that.

Have a great day!

Adrian

Why Steve Jobs Is The Most Overrated CEO

Audio Version:

I have never understood the obsession with Steve Jobs. Apple’s CEO. Surely he did some interesting things but this extreme obsession with him is just silliness. Surely he has done some decent things in terms of communication. But if you look at today the modern time the internet hasn’t really moved society forward. We are actually having more and more issues. The phones and gadgets Steve Jobs came out with has it made society more intelligent? Or are we going back in time?

Old School!

When phones was just a basic way to communicate via voice people went out to see each other. Now people stay inside and play some game alone. All these devices Steve Jobs came out with has made society more lazy and we are more a passive culture. Desperate for a hero. The middle class chose Steve Jobs. They needed a modern hero and instead of using someone who has stood the test of time like Leonardo Da Vinci they chose a person who loved money and was obsessed with vanity.

What happen’s when people get obsessed with 1 hero figure? They become mostly passive. They think that person did something amazing that other’s people cannot do. They oversimplify life. Should we celebrate gadgets that are actually making people lazier? Sure some use it to progress in their life but most people are falling behind. And the rich are constantly getting richer. Shouldn’t we strive for beauty, truth and knowledge instead of mass consumerism?

Greek Wisdom!

Why not have some real role models like philosophers like Plato and Aristotle? I bet there are people out there that will argue Steve Jobs has done more for history than these massive Greek heroes. Or what about the Ancient Egypt? With their amazing Pyramids clearly they also shows that we have been way more intelligent in the past than what we are as of 2017. We live in a time of lowering our standards.

People instead of creating websites they put all their stuff and work on “social media”. These services can be gone in 2 seconds. All your life work forever erased. Or if the electricity to your iPhone would go away how would people be able to take care of themselves. Clearly this phone industry and computer industry mostly have been a capitalist way to take over the world.

Lazy Middle Class

Maybe Steve Jobs had a starting idea about changing the world but it’s not how it has worked out. To be honest society would be way better off without all this so called “progressive technology”. The only thing it does for 99% of people is making them lazier and passive. Instead of worrying about their family they worry about things far away from them.

The human consciousness is already low as it is. But the extreme zombie state we are now starting to develop will be even wilder than ever before. You can barely see a person walk on the street without their eyes glued to an iPhone screen. Is this progress? No it’s going back.

People used to talk to each other in relationships now they rather just talk into a screen. Or play a stupid video game. Maybe we will one day improve our brain with technology but I do not think so. Just look how little progress that has happened with phones from 2007 to 2017. 10 years and the only update we have seen is a bit bigger screen. But it’s just moving in a slow update stage to make as much money as possible.

Knowledge!

Was Steve Jobs creative? Yes. Is he a hero? No absolutely not. People do have this addiction into believing he did something nobody else can do. What a joke! We all are humans with a brain and can do exactly what he did. With the same effort or more we can do more even. There are literally millions of people out there that is just like Steve Jobs. But instead of taking action and use their creativity they obsess about Steve as he did something nobody else can do.

For some reason if you make a lot of money people think you are a genius. It’s not true. It’s just more 0s we are still the same silly humans. I have done over 9000 videos on YouTube and I can tell you people are in such a deep zombie state you wouldn’t believe it. On average people spend 2 mins on a video after 1 click. On just a stupid video! And then people look at you like you are a modern day genius. We are not. We just took action.

Fanatics!

My main idea I wanna leave you with is stop obsessing over Steve Jobs please. I have seen so many people obsess about him like he is a genius. Just because he stands and say some words at a pretentious university doesn’t mean he is a genius. It’s all just a show folks. The middle class loves the fantasy of a hero and their gadgets. What would they do without them? The gadgets starts to own their life.

Be strong and just go out and take action. Produce a lot. Be an owner over your own work. Make an email list and gather an army of loyal fans that wanna be your family! You have infinite potential and be strong. Burn away your weakness by taking lot’s of action and reading intelligent books. And this blog of course. Learn from other’s but don’t put anyone above you like they are so above you. They are not. They have just taken more action so they get better results in life.

I Love My Life!

If I can make money then so can you. I remember one guy once said to me on Facebook. You will never make any money on YouTube. 12 months later I was making 5,500 euro in one month from YouTube. I took his real feedback and wanted to prove him wrong. Now I have been able to live on my dream since 2012 in a full-time mode. It’s been a paradise experience. If I can do that in 12 months just remember you can do the same. You have infinite potential. Stay strong!

Adrian

The Importance of Being an Owner!

Audio Version:

One of my favourite concept’s is the idea of being an owner of all the things in your life. When you are an owner in life you have full control over the direction of your life. And you have much more freedom. Sure it will take more work to become an owner of certain parts of your life but the work is never the problem once you get into a flow of it. Once you start to get into a flow of work you actually like the process of growth.

Being an owner of parts of your life involves so many things. For example having your own business. It’s about more responsibility in life. It will turns us into full adults faster. When we truly are responsible we also many times feel free and put in more effort and work. Because we know we can control the outcome. There are many interesting ways you can become an owner over parts of your life.

Apps!

You can start with things we take for granted. Let’s take a basic app on Android that is being a calculator. Why not make your own calculator? And use your own app? Maybe it will take a week to learn but after you learned that skill suddenly you have taken a massive step into being more of an owner. In learning new things we take big leaps into become owners in life.

I have another example when I was researching products on Amazon. I found out that many of these products we think are special because it has a brand logo on it. That you can actually order these gadgets already from China and create your own custom branding! Suddenly if you would do that you would use something with your company name on it! How cool. Another major step into becoming an owner.

Small Steps!

So this idea of becoming an owner it can happen in small steps. Once you see the small steps are working you can try bigger ones. And build up higher levels of self-confidence. With the power of the internet becoming an owner over your life the knowledge you would need is all there for you to pickup.

But just because knowledge is easily available these days most people end up not value it. Or see the potential in it. This all comes down to one thing I was talking about in another blog post about the importance of paying attention in life. If you pay close attention in life to the task you are involved in you will see things other people do not see. But it will require you to focus with a deeper level of intensity.

One of my favorite books of all time talking about human nature is a book from a great author who have had many jobs and observed human nature a lot. He is called Robert Greene and here is a great quote from his book The 50th Law:

I will also add some more quotes from this book in this blog post because it has some intense raw truth quotes.

To be able to have this intense focus in life you have to study consciousness more in life and how it works. For example right now you can open another tab in your browser and google “human consciousness”. I’m sure it will bring up some interesting results. And I have also been talking about it in other blog posts.

Limitless Loop!

Being an owner means limitless opportunities where you can take your life. If you do not become an owner usually what will happen is you will slowly be trapped by other peoples goals to become owners. This doesn’t happen because someone is mean. It’s just a natural law that if you do not take control over your life someone else will. We think we are independent islands in life while that is not the case.

We also absorb new information and always get’s influenced by other sources. Whatever we like it or not. It is happening. So you better take control over things that has an influence on you. And try to make sure it’s from good sources.

Wake Up!

We humans wanna be awake. Not asleep. Basic jobs and not being owners of our lives put’s us into a sleep mode. Because repetitive jobs will keep you unconscious. More responsibility in life will keep you awake. Because your life will be more at risk If your business don’t go well. So you have to become extremely good at business and become an adult very fast.

Another great quote from The 50th Law:

Usually what happens is you will find out the world isn’t as scary place as you made it up in your life. There is always help to get from all kinds of sources. And nature love’s a good hearted person and will help that person as much as it can. Being a slave and not an owner over my life scares me.

Internet Opportunities!

The world we live in is way more safe than in the past. We do not live in the jungle anymore but our tribal brain still thinks we are. Because the world have changed rapidly over the last 100 years. The amount of opportunity people have with a tool like the internet is mind-blowing. The internet should be used to network as much as possible and actually build real connections that can move your life forward.

But many people do not take advantage of the internet. You have all the knowledge available right in your phone. The amount of limitless potential that exists is so wild. Back in the days to be able to get knowledge was super hard. Because books was expensive. But now in history there is a short window where knowledge is available for a cheap price so you should try to suck up as much good knowledge as possible.

Changes!

Because we never know if this internet thing will last. It can be closed down tomorrow. Because if it’s one thing that mother nature has taught us then it is that life is always changing. Things are in constant change. So if you are not changing then you are probably being left behind. The more knowledge we learn the more we will find out how ignorant we have been in the past. Thinking that we know a lot. When in fact most of human society is in a state of deep unconsciousness mode.

And a good ending quote also from The 50th Law:

Have a great day!

Best Regards,

Adrian

Top 10 Phones I Can’t Afford But Love

Today I quickly wanna go over some phones I don’t have now in my phone library but I wished I had! Some are pretty expensive as of this writing August 2017. But many beautiful phones in this list from good brands.

Audio Version:

#1 Xiaomi Mi MIX

Xiaomi Mi MIX is an amazing phone when it comes to design. It features and edge-to-edge display that fully goes up to the top of the device. This makes it stand out from many other phones. We do have a rumor that the iPhone 8 will also go up to the top which would be amazing. The battery size this phone packs is 4400mAh which sounds extremely good when other phones only has around 3000mAh.

But then again it is probably a big battery drain display with it’s huge 6.4″ size. If features snapdragon 821 which is not that impressive when the Samsung Galaxy S8 comes with snapdragon 835. But I would still love to test this device out. Because of the quality Xiaomi put’s into their products. I really loved their Xiaomi Mi Max phone! The Xiaomi Mi MIX is available here.

#2 Samsung Galaxy Note FE

The new Samsung Galaxy Note FE is made up from parts of Samsung Galaxy Note 7 which Samsung’s stopped selling because of battery issues. It has 3200mAh instead of 3500mAh that the Galaxy Note 7 had.

But otherwise most of the specs seems to be the same. I never got an opportunity to test out the Note 7. So this device would be fun to test out! I am a big lover of Samsung’s Note series. I was one of the first to adopt their first Note phone in the end of 2011. Here is my unboxing of that device. The original Note’s problem was how it was too wide. So very hard to hold. But it for sure stood out! And I really loved it.

Stylus is awesome!

I can’t still wrap my head around why not more companies tries to implement a pen in their huge phone. The S-Pen is truly a unique feature. The stylus phone people really loved that unique feature. It stands out. And the pen has been improved a lot over the years.

#3 Nokia 6

The Nokia brand is making a comeback with HMD Global. Phones under the Nokia brand has usually had an amazing quality. I have done an unboxing on the Nokia 3 which I really enjoyed when it came to hardware quality. I bet that this larger Nokia 6 branded phone is even better. I will try to get it when I can afford it. I do wish that HMD worked a bit harder to create a more unique Android software feel. To make themselves stand out from the masses. The Nokia 3 mostly had just a standard Android experience. I want them to try to be more original.

#4 Zenfone AR

I have had a good experience with previous ASUS phones. For example I truly love the Zenfone 3, both the software which stands out in the Android world. But also the attention to design and beauty. With it’s amazing glass back. Same as I had an amazing experience with the Zenfone 3 Max phone. Which featured a matte back. ASUS has an amazing way to design creative phone designs. This Zenfone AR has a superb design on the back. And I’m sure it delivers a perfect overall phone experience.

#5 Sony Xperia XZ Premium

So I am very impressed with Sony’s comeback! The comeback started with the Sony Xperia XZ. Amazing new design! My favorite Sony design so far. Now they have released a bigger model which should be even more impressive. Sony has an impressive smooth software that I never had any lag problems with. And the battery optimize features are great as well. I am going to try to save up money so I can review the Sony Xperia XZ Premium but go watch my XZ videos on YouTube if you wanna see more with the smaller variant.

#6 HTC U11

So HTC has released the new U11 with a cool unique back! I really loved the HTC 10 but I felt it lacked something. I’m sure this one is way more cool. I have a good feel about this device. I also like HTC unique apps how they try to do their own thing. A bit like Samsung. HTC U11 is available here.

#7 OnePlus 5

So OnePlus has made a new device that kinda looks like an iPhone 7/iPhone 6. But I like it! I have reviewed the OnePlus 3 and 3T and with them I really enjoyed the fast UI and it’s extra features implemented. It has nice color theme that is kind to your eyes. I am sure this device will deliver good results as well. With it’s dual camera lens. Good thing with this phone is it features the brand new Snapdragon 835 which is same processor that Galaxy S8 is using! So real specs. Running with the same Adreno 540 GPU and latest Android 7.0. The OnePlus 5 is available here.

#8 OPPO R9 Plus

It was a long time ago I checked out an Oppo device. But they have been keeping up with making amazing new designs. That reminds us about the iPhone 7 design! But with Android of course. This phone features a massive 6″ display with a 4120mAh battery. The processor is a more humble one a Snapdragon 652 with Adreno 510 GPU. But it looks so slim and beautiful that I truly wanna test out how this device runs! OPPO has been busy producing many more other cool phones as well. Some new phones they even call “Selfie Experts”! This OPPO R9 Plus is available here.

#9 Zenfone 3 Zoom

Another cool phone from ASUS. This one is especially cool because how big battery it packs in a slim phone design. 5000mAh! It does pack a shy Snapdragon 625 processor which I’m not sure how it will perform. But camera’s seems to be decent with a Dual 12MP rear and a front 13MP camera. It also come’s with SonicMaster which is suppose to enhance the audio. This phone is available here. And I will buy it when I can afford it! To compare it against the Zenfone 3 and the Zenfone 3 Max.

#10 Xiaomi Mi6

I have a had pretty good experience with Xiaomi except with the Mi5 where the battery turned faulty. But again remember that I usually don’t use my phones a lot so that could probably have made the battery worse. This new phone from Xiaomi looks really great. I really enjoyed their Mi Note. Seems like it’s splash resistant. Pretty small display in today’s 2017 standards only 5.15″ big. But comes packed with amazing Snapdragon 835 so should be amazing phone performance. The Mi6 is available here.

Hopefully you enjoyed this quick blog post one some phones I can’t afford at this moment but may pick up in the future. It also gives you a quick idea of potenial phones you might be interested in getting.

Best Regards,

Adrian
