1LINE is currently the most downloaded Android Play Store game. This is a puzzle game. You draw 1 line and you need to connect all the dots with it.
This game is already a bit hard at the beginning. Just like other puzzle games this requires some thinking. Other games like Angry Birds is a bit easier to get into since you only aim and shoot. This requires thinking. Surely this will improve your brain skills when it comes to coming up with solutions quick.
The amount of levels in 1LINE that exist are 10 but they also included 500 stages in total. You can also get hints for how to clear various stages. This is good if you feel that the game is too difficult. Then you have some special lines that will make you having to use your imagination to solve the puzzle!
The shapes the stages comes in is a bit fascinating. It’s very creative I would say. The graphics in the game is also great looking. The sound in the background is also very relaxing. Just as other Android games this one have a built in leaderboard. They also have a recommend section where they show you other awesome apps that are very similar that you may be interested in.
People in the comment section say that 1LINE is a quite addictive experience. Games like this reminds me a little bit about AdVenture Capitalist. Which also is very addicting.
Games will just improve as we move further into the future. And people will have a harder time to try to stay away from them. But we are also now going to implement cryptocurrency in new games which means you will be able to earn currency that you later could go trade to Fiat currency.
I’m really looking forward to see what will happen with games in the future especially in the virtual reality space.
Huawei has a pro edition of their P20 out. This one comes with a massive display. It also comes with same notch as iPhone X has in design.
Main specs: 6.1 inch AMOLED Display, 1080×2244 pixels screen, EMUI 8.1, Android 8.1 Oreo, Kirin 970 Chipset, Octa-core processor clocked at 4x 2.4GHz Cortex-A73 and 4x 1.8GHz Cortex-A53, Mali-G72 MP12 GPU, No card slot, 128GB Internal storage, 6GB of RAM, Triple camera with 40MP + 20MP + 8MP, Secondary 24MP camera and No 3.5mm jack!
Sad again that we are seeing more companies removing the 3.5mm earphone jack. I still have wired earphones so I need that function. And I don’t want to get a USB Type C adapter just for music listening! The battery has 4000mAh on the other hand which is very impressive.
But just because this phone has a triple rear camera this cause the price to be insanely high. Just as high as the Apple iPhone X! The fingerprint sensor is front mounted. It also comes with fast battery charging. The colours it comes in are Twilight, Black, Midnight Blue and Pink Gold!
Another nice thing that it has is IP67 certification and up to 1m and 30mins! This is both dust and water resistant! It has a pretty heavy weight with 180 grams. Very close to 200 grams. A good thing with it is the slim body with just 7.8mm thickness. This phone also comes with a slimmed down front home button. It seems to be same size as the home button on Samsung Galaxy S4!
The camera on the back side has a traffic light design just as iPhone X. Wish this phone had some special feature. Because the display is so large that I would like to see Huawei create a stylus and implement it into the body. So they can compete against the Samsung Galaxy Note lineup!
LG G7 is a new smartphone that we will see coming out soon. It has leaked and we could see that it will feature a notch at the top. Same as the iPhone X design had! I think LG officially posted on Reddit asking what people thought about the notch and they disliked it and then LG removed the post… Here is the rumored specs.
Main specs: 6.0 inch Display, IPS LCD type, 1440×2880 pixels, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 screen protection, LG UX, Always-on Display, Android 8.0 Oreo, Snapdragon 845 Chipset, Octa-core processor with 4x 2.7GHz Kryo 385 and 4x 1.7GHz Kryo 385, Adreno 630 GPU, microSD card up to 400GB, 128GB Internal storage, 6GB of RAM, Dual 16MP with F1.5, Secondary 8MP camera, 2160p recording at 30fps and Bluetooth 5.0!
The USB type is suppose to be 3.1 according to the rumors with Type-C 1.0. With USB On-The-Go support! Other epic things are wireless charge support same as iPhone X. The battery on the other hand seems to be a bit small with only 3000mAh! Would prefer to see above 3500mAh for a high-end flagship Android device.
The four colours this phone will come in is Black, Gold, Blue and White. Which is pretty standard colours. I would love to have seen a red edition as well. The fingerprint sensor is rear mounted. Which I think is the best location. The second best location would be on the side I would say.
One main thing here that is going to be the best is how it comes with IP68 certification that makes it dust and water proof up to 1.5m for 30 mins. This is the most famous water rating for phones. In terms of thickness it is 8.2mm .
Asus ZenFone 5 Lite is a new smartphone that comes in the mid-range price range. Asus the last couple of years have made many phones focusing on the camera. Same with this variant.
Main specs: 6.0 Inch Full HD+ Display, IPS screen type, 2160×1080 pixels, 80.3% screen to body ratio, 3.5mm earphone port, Android 8 Oreo with ASUS ZenUI 5 skin, Snapdragon 630 Chipset, 14nm, 64-Bit Octa-Core Processor, Adreno 508 GPU, 4GB of RAM, 64GB Internal storage, TF Card support up to 2TB and Metal shell build!
The front facing camera on Asus ZenFone 5 Lite comes with a 20MP lens and with a 120 degree wide-angle camera. This is great for taking group selfies. The two other things you get here is gyro EIS and LED Flash.
The Dual Back camera comes with 16MP and 120 degree wide-angle camera. The video recording that you get is supporting 4K UHD video.
Other nice things with this smartphone is how it comes with support for NFC so you could do mobile payments. You also could find a fingerprint scanner on this phone for easy fast unlock. You even could find Face Recognition! The battery size on this phone is 3300mAh! It’s a built in battery with non removable battery. This phone is pretty slim with just 7.75mm thickness.
I really enjoy how the USB connector on Asus ZenFone 5 Lite is Type-C variant. The net weight is not too much either only 168 grams! The fast charge that it currently supports is 5V 2A with 10W! There is three different colours you could get this phone in one is Black another White and the last one is Red.
The display on the front reminds me a bit about the LG G6 smartphone! Really clean look. Asus usually takes very good care of the software experience by making it fast and making good quality apps for you to use. Just as Samsung do with their Android experience.
Today I did a benchmark comparison. I picked the brand new Samsung Galaxy A8 and the older flagship Samsung Galaxy S7 device. These phones are pretty similar in terms of specs.
The main key thing that is different in terms of build here is how the Galaxy S7 comes with a hardware button at the front and is a bit more rounded in design. The Galaxy S7 was a nice upgrade from the S6 because it brought back the water resistance that we first saw in Galaxy S5!
The new A8 here is also a good upgrade compared to the edition we saw a few years ago. Samsung is putting glass on their mid-range devices. Something they didn’t do a couple of years ago. It adds even more exclusive feeling but it also raise the price on their mid-range lineup.
Both of these two phones comes with an Exynos processor and Mali GPUs but different editions. The new Galaxy A8 also comes with Bluetooth 5.0 so should have better wireless audio. Another different thing is how the fingerprint sensor is located at the rear side on Galaxy A8!
The screen is also a bit bigger on A8 because people still want bigger display phones. But we are probably hitting the limit soon for how big screens could go. Both of these two phones have the same mAh in battery size. The Galaxy S7 is a little bit slimmer in terms of thickness. The A8 is around 20 grams heavier in weight.
I will probably do more videos like this where I use the jwplayer on my own website instead of uploading the video to YouTube. Since I have more control over my content on my phoneinf website. And it feels much better to have that extra freedom!
