HTC Vive Pro New Virtual Reality Headset!

HTC Vive Pro is a brand new updated virtual reality headset from HTC which is an awesome upgrade from HTC Vive that got released a few years ago. This successor comes with more pixels to create an even better realistic feel.

Main specs: Dual AMOLED 3.5″ diagonal screen, 2880×1600 pixels combined with both eyes, 90 Hz refresh rate, 110 degrees field of view, Hi-res audio, Integrated microphone, USB-C 3.0 connector, DP1.2 and Bluetooth!

The tracking features on HTC Vive Pro are SteamVR Tracking, G-sensor, Gyroscope, Proximity and IPD sensor! The most impressive thing with Vive Pro is the 615 pixels per inch which gives 37% ppi increase and 78% pixel increase compared to previous generation.

They have also redesigned the face cushion and the node pad so they let in less light to create a more realistic VR experience. if I have understood it correct then audio should also be improved with this new model. They also seem to have integrated headphones on top of this model something we didn’t see with the first generation!

One of the big issues with first generation was that it was a bit bulky to take off and put on. Seems like they are trying to solve more of that by making this new generation more comfortable to wear and use by using better ergonomics.

Perhaps HTC Vive Pro won’t be a massive change compared to first generation the key seem to be more pixels but is it really worth a couple hundred more euros? Probably not for majority. The first Vive is still amazing and now you will be able to pick it up for an even lower price!

The specs that they recommend for this new VR headset is Core i5-4590 or AMD FX 8350 processor. In graphics you need GeForce GTX1060 or Radeon RX480! Memory is only at 4GB of RAM which is nice. You also need a new version of Windows either 8.1 or Windows 10! Sorry Windows 7 users…

Lenovo K5 New Smartphone!

Lenovo K5 is a new smartphone that comes with a dual rear camera on the back. Something we have seen many new phones are starting to adopt. It all started with the iPhone 7 Plus. This is a low end Android phone with good specs.

Main features: 5.7″ Display, 1440×720 pixels resolution screen, 3.5mm earphone port, 8MP front facing camera with F2.0, Dual Rear camera with 13.0MP + 5.0MP lens(F2.0 + F2.2), 3000mAh Battery, 160 grams weight, OTG Support, ZUI 3.1 Lite OS Based on Android N, MTK6750 Chipset clocked at 1.5GHz Octa-core setup, 32GB Internal storage, 3GB of RAM and TF Card support up to 128GB!

Pretty standard specs for a modern 2018 low end Android phone. The shell material is glass something that we usually only see on higher end Android phones. The problems with glass is obvious how it may break easy in case you accidentally drop the device. This phone comes with Dual SIM Dual Standby great for people that travel a lot.

Another key feature on Lenovo K5 is 4G support so download files and watch Netflix will be amazing in terms of performance. 3G can’t compete with 4G in speed. The three colours it comes in are Black, Blue and Gray. No pink edition that we usually see.

The phone design reminds me of Huawei Honor 9 a bit. The glass will make the phone be a bit glossy on the back side. On the front you don’t get a full all-screen display as some companies offer. But it still looks modern and great. On the back rear side at the middle you could find a fingerprint sensor to unlock the phone fast and easy.

Lenovo K5 is also a pretty slim phone just 7.8mm in thickness. If you are lost then you have an E-compass you could use or the regular GPS. This phones comes in English or Chinese language.
