Huawei P20 is a new phone that comes with an iPhone X design. Many Android phones are copying Apple’s new high end device. Because it comes with a notch on the top display!
Main specs: 5.8 inch Display LCD type with 16.7M colours, 1080×2244 pixel screen, 48 pixels per inch, EMUI 8.1 Based on Android 8.1, Huawei Kirin 970 Chipset, Octa-core processor with 4x A73 cores clocked at 2.36GHz and 4x A53 cores clocked at 1.8GHz, Mali G72 MP12 GPU, 128GB Internal storage, 6GB of RAM, No card extend support and 4G LTE speeds!
Another awesome thing on Huawei P20 is a 3.5mm earphone jack something that many other high end phones are removing. The front facing camera is using a 24.0MP sensor and the Dual Back camera is using 20.0MP + 12.0MP sensor! The back camera has F1.8 and F1.6 combined. Other cool things are BSI CMOS, Auto Focus, LED Flash and 2x Hybrid Zoom.
The battery inside has 3400mAh which is pretty standard size for what to expect. It comes with OTG support and NFC for mobile payments. The USB connector being used is USB Type C. It’s a pretty slim device only 7.65mm in thickness and low 165 grams weight.
The camera on the back looks like the traffic light design the Apple iPhone X had but it doesn’t seem to protrude as much. I like the Blue edition of this phone. This phones comes with AI support since the 970 chipset support NPU.
You also get DOLBY AUDIO on board of Huawei P20 for a great movie watch or music listen experience. The build is using metal and glass. Sadly I’m not a big fan of glass phones since they usually tend to break eventually. And then it becomes expensive and hard to replace it. This phone packs three colours Midnight Blue, Champagne Gold and Pink Gold.
