Allview V3 Viper is a new smartphone that recently got unveiled. It comes with a very cool edgy design.
Main specs: 5.5 inch Display, 720×1440 pixels, corning gorilla glass 3 screen protection, Android 8.0 Oreo, Mediatek MT6737 Chipset, Quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz with Cortex-A53 cores, Mali-T720MP2 GPU, microSD card up to 256GB, 32GB Internal storage, 3GB of RAM, 13MP Primary camera and 13MP secondary!
Very nice how V3 Viper has great camera lens on both sides. This is also a phone that packs a fingerprint sensor with a rear mount side. The battery gives you 3000mAh which is a great amount for it’s low price.
The colours it comes in are Black, Silver and Gold. The USB connector is microUSB 2.0. I wish it came with Type-C connector. Bluetooth edition is version 4.2. Also there it would be nice with latest Bluetooth 5.0 version. It does pack an infrared port you might be able to control some devices because of that.
With camera doing videos it only packs 1080p at 30fps. No higher 2K or 4K video resolution. It’s a pretty slim phone just 8.1mm thickness and low 143 grams in weight. Also has option for hybrid dual SIM!
Other good things are that V3 Viper packs 4G LTE super fast data speeds. Great if you like fast internet on the go. The back side of this phone is very glossy. Even more than ZenFone 3. Might not be great for everyone. It will probably collect tons of fingerprints. But perhaps a case could solve that. It looks like it may be slippery to hold.
But fingerprint is nicely located at the rear center for easy reach. I think that many will buy it. But I’m curious if we are reaching the peak of phones and if phone purchase will slow down in the future because there will be no reason to upgrade when their device still works.
