Samsung Galaxy J7 core is a new smartphone from Samsung. This edition was first available only on the Indian market. But now it seems like it’s globally available! This is a phone that comes with a plastic design. Which many prefer over the glass design A5 2017 comes with. Or the metal aluminium build J5 2017 has. Let’s go and look at the features you get in here.
Main specs: 5.5 inch Display, Super AMOLED screen type, 720×1280 pixels, Android 7.0 Nougat, Exynos 7870 Octa Chipset, Octa-core processor clocked at 1.6GHz with Cortex-A53, Mali-T830 MP1 GPU for Gaming, microSD card expand up to 256GB, 16GB Internal storage, 2GB of RAM, 13MP Primary camera, 5MP Secondary camera, microUSB 2.0 connector for charging and 3000mAh removable battery!
One big key here with Galaxy J7 core is how you get a removable battery. I think many will love this. But a downside is only 2GB of RAM. Which is a bit cheap when Xiaomi Redmi 5 comes with 3GB and for a lower price. Nice the phone has LTE speeds.
You can get it in either a Black or Gold colour. The GPU is very powerful for heavy gaming. 170 grams low weight. You get Dual SIM card option. Great for people that travels a lot. You still can find 3.5mm audio jack.
The design Galaxy J7 core comes with reminds me a bit about the Galaxy Note 2 design. Or perhaps even the original Note. You can find 2 capacitive buttons on the front as well as a hardware home button. So the old school Samsung layout. In their new S8 they are moving away from this design by removing the buttons on front side and just giving you an all-screen display instead.
I wish this phone came with a fingerprint sensor on the back side. Since that is a common feature most phones 2017 have. Samsung is a premium brand so you have to pay a little extra for their devices
