LG Phoenix 2 is a phone that is available for the AT&T carrier. Other similar variants of this phone is the LG K8.
Main specs: AT&T Carrier Locked, 5.0″ Display, 1280×720 pixels screen, Android 6.0 Marshmallow, Qualcomm MSM8909 Chipset, Quad-core Processor clocked at 1.3GHz, 16GB Internal memory, 1.5GB of RAM, 32GB memory card extend support and 2125mAh Battery!
First thing that stands out with Phoenix 2 is the modern design with 2.5D arc glass. You also have a cool feature where you can take a selfie by using gestures like moving up your hand.
The main rear camera is an 8MP variant with autofocus. You just touch the display and it will focus and take a picture for you. To give you brighter front facing photos it will illuminate the screen to get selfie light.
One thing that may be a bit boring is just 1.5GB of RAM but it’s a very low cost phone so for the price it’s very good. It also has the Knock On feature where with just tap the display it can unlock instead of having to touch any button! This is a feature we usually don’t see in low cost devices.
Another awesome thing is how you can use 4G over AT&T’s fast LTE network. The Bluetooth wireless version the phone is using is 4.1. With the camera app you have other nice features as burst shot, interval shot, HD rear camcorder, video trim, live shot and more!
On the back side of Phoenix 2 you have volume up and down keys just as we saw with the LG G2! The back side comes with textured plastic back that gives the phone some sleek design. You have the LG logo at the front side below the screen. I would prefer if they would have added some capacitive buttons there instead.
With the quad-core processor you will probably get some nice gaming out of this device.
