OUKITEL K5 is a cool smartphone that kind of looks like a Samsung Galaxy S8. I really enjoy the glossy back side.
Main specs: 5.7 inch Display, 4G Connectivity, Android 7.0 Nougat, Phablet, MTK6737T Chipset, Quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz, 2GB of RAM, 16GB Internal storage, 4000mAh Battery, Dual Rear camera, Fingerprint sensor 1440×720 pixels screen and Mali T720 GPU!
It’s nice how OUKITEL K5 have a high clocked Quad-core processor for a low price. Other phones usually only give you 1.3GHz core clock speed and here you get 1.5GHz. The TF card support can expand memory up to 64GB!
This phone has a very large display that’s why I’m calling it a phablet. Others maybe would just call it a large phone. The 4G speeds are awesome for low cost phone. It”s also unlocked mobile so easy to use in other countries.
The back camera use one 8.0MP sensor and a second 0.3MP sensor. The front facing camera is a 2.0MP sensor. A bit cheap with just 0.3MP sensor but the dual rear camera looks a little more cool than if it would just be 1 sensor.
The large 4000mAh battery is one of the more impressive things with this smartphone. OUKITEL is very generous with mAh! Same as DOOGEE have some phones with massive mAh for a very low price like the DOOGEE BL5000 phone.
The screen on front side of OUKITEL K5 is great for video watching because of it’s 18:9 aspect ratio. The phone comes with a sleek dual curved design. This is usually something you only get on high-end devices. But now even low cost phones are starting to look and perform amazing.
OUKITEL OS is the skin they are using on top of Android 7.0 Nougat. You will hopefully get some extra features. This phone comes in three colour editions White, Black and Blue. It’s very nice to see a white phone. Something that I haven’t seen too much of lately. Feels like it ended with the iPhone 4S.
