Lenovo is a very popular brand when it comes to phones. We are mostly used to them when it comes to computers. But they create amazing low-cost phones as well! Lenovo ZUK Z2 Pro is a phone with Galaxy S7 processor for a very low price. Other cool phones with Snapdragon 820 was: LG G5, V20, HTC 10 and OnePlus 3. Let’s see what ZUK offers with Z2 Pro.
Main specs: 5.2 inch Super AMOLED FHD 2.5D display, 6GB of RAM, 128GB Internal storage, Snapdragon 820 clocked at 2.15GHz Quad-core processor, 4G Phone, Metal frame, Curved design, White/Black colours, Android 6.0.1, No Card Extend, 3.5mm Headphone jack, 13MP Rear camera and 8MP Front camera.
First big major selling points on ZUK Z2 Pro are Snapdragon 820 and massive memory! Both 6GB RAM and 128GB storage is madness! Yes you can’t expand memory but really who needs that after you have this much?
Also that the display is AMOLED is amazing because it means you will get super vibrant colours. Other cool features are U-Touch 2.0 fingerprint recognition. Very slim as well 7.45mm. One downside could be just 3100mAh battery. 4000mAh would be nicer but you can’t get everything!
Something I find interesting is the low weight on the device just 145 grams. I would expect at least 170 grams for a phone like this. It’s using USB Type C which is also cool. That cable you can plug in from both sides just as with Apple’s latest iPhone cable. If you want then you can also insert dual nano SIM cards.
The design on front on ZUK Z2 Pro reminds me about Galaxy S2. It looks like they are using glass back which can be bad in terms of durability. I may be wrong about this. But if it is glass then you will be one of the cool kids. Glass back is back in town with phones like iPhone 8 and iPhone X. Hey even Galaxy Note 8 is using it!
